Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of pencak silat exercise on premenstrual syndrome (PMS) in female students of UKM Pencak Silat. This design is correlational analytic with cross sectional method. The population in study were all female members of UKM Pencak Silat University of dr. Soebandi Jember. The sample size in this study was 30. The statistical test is Spearman Rank. There are a large proportion of respondents with sufficient pencak silat sports (56.7%). Most of the respondents (56.7%) did not experience Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) in the mild category. The results of the Spearman rank test obtained p value of 0.000 below the value of α (0.05), which means that Ha is accepted. . Abstract

Diaper rash is a rash that causes inflammation in the area affected by the diaper , namely the thighs, buttocks and anal area, causing candida infection. This is a common skin disease in infants and children when diapers are always wet and are rarely changed. To determine the effect of giving Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) on diaper rash. In this study using quantitative research methods using pre-experimental methods with the One Group Pretest-posttest approach . It is known that the mean before and after being given treatment is 0.281 with a standard deviation value of .457. On the test results of the paired sample T test, the t-count value is 3.483, so the value outside the acceptance area of Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This study shows that there is a good effect of giving Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) to babies who experience diaper rash.

Abstract

background : During menstruation, most women experience pain in the lower abdomen, which is known as dysmenorrhea. One way to reduce dysmenorrhea is by consuming carrot juice. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of carrot juice to reduce the degree of dysmenorrhea in young women Method :This type of research is pre-experiment with one group pre-test post-test design. Results :Before being given the intervention, the majority of respondents experienced moderate pain, then after being given the intervention, the majority of respondents experienced a decrease in pain in mild pain Analysis :The results of the analysis are knownSig.(2-tailed) value of 0.000 <(0.05) which means that there is an effect of giving carrot juice to reduce the degree of dysmenorrhea in young women. Conclusion:There is an effect of giving carrot juice to a decrease in the degree of dysmenorrhea in young women

Abstract

In this study the authors raised the title of "Changes in Hormone Physiology and Psychology during Pregnancy". This study aims to review the journals that the authors have chosen. The method used in this study was a literature review of the 9,810 results that appeared, then a review was carried out on the 31 selected journals. The results of this study are that the hormonal changes that occur during pregnancy are very complex and correlate with each other to support the growth and development of the fetus as well as the body's preparation for childbirth and breastfeeding. Understanding the physical and emotional changes experienced by women during pregnancy is essential to support proper pregnancy care and management.

Abstract

Hospitals that are accredited are a tool to measure the performance of hospitals. The design of this study was qualitative using purposive sampling snowball with the research focus directed at analyzing the performance of midwives at RSUD dr. Sayidiman Magetan after hospital accreditation. With a sample of 7 people and triangulation of 3 people. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that in general the performance development of midwives after hospital accreditation has not increased, but the regulations applied at the hospital, for example patient visiting hours have not been fulfilled. The number of midwives is large, but the problem is the use of midwives who are not in accordance with their main duties, for example delivery rooms for supervisors 2, then skilled midwives 4, skilled midwives 16.

Abstract

Yoga is done with deep breathing so that it increases the flow of oxygen to the brain so that it can reduce anxiety, depression, psychological disorders, and symptoms of pain including low back pain.The research method used is an experimental design method, with one group pretest-posttest design. The study used primary data, a sample of 30 third-trimester pregnant women, divided into 2 groups, namely the experimental group 15 respondents, and the control group 15 respondents. The independent variable is prenatal yoga. The dependent variable is the discomfort of pregnant women. Data analysis used normality, homogeneity, Wilcoxon, and Mann-Whitney tests.The data in the pre-test showed abnormal results (control group (p=0.004) and experimental group (p=0.000) and homogeneous (p=0.972).The results of the data analysis showed that there was the effectiveness of prenatal yoga on the level of discomfort of pregnant women at different post-test and pre-test (p = 0.000).

Abstract

Background : Stunting is a major problem experienced by toddlers in the world and Indonesia is included in the fifth country with the highest number of toddlers experiencing stunting in the world. Method : The research design used is a non-experimental quantitative research design. This type of research is a correlational descriptive study using a cross sectional approach. Result : The results of the study showed that 76% of toddlers who experienced stunting did not get exclusive breastfeeding. Analysis : Some researchers suspect that the effect of exclusive breastfeeding on stunting does not come from aspects of nutritional intake, but from efforts to prevent infection. Conclution : there is a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the incidence of stunting in infants.

Abstract

Background: Postpartum blues affect many mothers in Asia, 15-85%. This study will explore the impact of psychoeducation on postpartum blues in women after giving birth Methods: This study was a quasi-experimental design with a pre-and post-test approach for a group of postpartum mothers selected through purposive sampling. To measure the incidence of postpartum blues using EPDS questionnaire and the Wilcoxon test were used for data analysis. Result: The average pre-test score was 9.92, which categorized at risk for postpartum blues, the post-test score was 7.28, categorized as not at risk for postpartum blues. Analysis: Wilcoxon test results obtained z value = -4.449 and p-value = 0.000 this means that there is an effect of providing psychoeducation on the incidence of postpartum blues Conclusion: Providing therapy in the form of psychoeducation has been proven to be effective in reducing the risk of postpartum blues.

Abstract

Background: The acceleration of MMR reduction is carried out by ensuring that every mother is able to access quality maternal health services, such as pregnant women's health services, childbirth. Method : Type of descriptive research case study method, place conducted at Puskesmas Welahan I. Result : Results Pregnancy care is carried out according to 10 T care standards, physiological pregnancy. The labor process applies normal labor care, proceeds normally. Conclution : The results of COC midwifery care are able to deliver mothers and babies in healthy conditions.

Abstract

Complementary food for breast milk (weaning food) is very important to give to babies after 6 months of age. because breast milk no longer provides the nutrients the baby needs. Almost all babies aged before 6 months are given complementary foods with breast milk. The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between maternal knowledge and work and the provision of complementary breast milk (weaning food) from an early age. This research uses a cross-sectional research design. The population in this study were all mothers who had babies 6-12 months in Nusa Indah Tirtoudan Village, Islamic Boarding School District, Kediri City, totaling 33 respondents. The sample used was simple random sampling. The data used in this research was collected using a questionnaire and then analyzed using logistic regression analysis.
